The Hague Parade
Inspired by the Bosch Parade in the Netherlands, The Hague Parade is a love letter to the water in the form of creative expression, collaboration, and community. The floating art parade hopes to inspire wonder while bringing to light the beautiful privilege we have living with the water. We speak so much on the fear surrounding sea-level rise, our city’s issues with flooding, but what if we were “to be like water” — to be fluid, to reach a state of acceptance— to dream and play and create with the water rather than against it? The parade is a beautiful dance between the arts and the sciences which will culminate at the once Norfolk Museum of Arts and Sciences, now The Chrysler Museum of Art.

IMPROV-ing Emotional Wellness Workshops
A collaboration between Push Comedy Theater and Watermark Psychological Services to support our community's overall well-being with three pilot workshops (Emotional Intelligence, Emotional Regulation, and Boundaries) interweaving the art of improvisational comedy and the science of our brains and emotional processing.
Creativity and Reflection Workshops
Creativity and Reflection Workshops are designed to give participants the space to turn off from the hustle and bustle to allow for some inner reflection. Facilitated by artists in our community, participants will dive deeper into various expressive art modalities using creativity as a tool to become more curious about our own processing and inner work. Through the support and accountability of a group, we will show up together— on the page, on the canvas, and for ourselves.
